Do you know animal protein glue? It is also called jelly glue in some industries. The main component of jelly glue is industrial gelatin (a kind of animal glue, that is, hot melt), which is a new type of environmentally friendly adhesive. The price of jelly glue is different Also different. Do you know these wide-ranging uses of jelly glue?
The main component of jelly glue is gelatin. Gelatin is a kind of animal glue. After deep processing of animal glue, the glue used in the printing and packaging industry is called jelly glue, or gel glue. Because the shape is similar to jelly, it is also called jelly glue.
The scope of application of jelly glue
Used in the production of high-end gift boxes, wine boxes, cosmetic boxes, tea boxes, folders, hardcover books, dictionaries, dictionaries, etc. Since animal protein, the main component of jelly gum, does not contain benzaldehyde solvents, it is non-toxic and truly environmentally friendly. Will not pollute food and packaged items. Products made with jelly glue are not deformed, not prone to mold and foam, and can enhance the stiffness of paper products. In addition to strong stickiness, jelly glue also has moderate softness, which makes hardcover books, recipes, dictionaries, and dictionaries often broken.
Jelly glue classification
According to different production processes and equipment, jelly gums are roughly divided into
Glue for manual or semi-automatic machines, commonly known as low-speed glue: This type of glue has a slow drying speed. After the tissue is glued, the glue remains sticky within 120 seconds and does not solidify. This will allow enough time to complete the production by hand.
Medium-speed glue: suitable for semi-mechanized box making or book case making, the drying time is about 20 seconds.
High-speed glue: suitable for automatic high-speed box making or book cover making, the highest speed can keep up with the machine of 60-80 per minute.
How to properly apply jelly glue
1. Clean up the supporting machine, the hot melt barrel and the glue tank.
2. The water flow rate should be 5%-10% of the net weight of the colloidal solution, and it is not suitable to exceed 15%. The ideal diluent level may vary according to the applied raw materials, working temperature and air humidity. Excessive water in the diluent will lengthen the opening time and reduce the viscosity of the viscose.
3. Make it melt in the bath at a temperature of 70-80℃, and it will never be able to be heated immediately with a container for storing glue. After all the glue blocks are melted into liquid, put them into the glue tank, stir evenly, and then operate on the machine for application. Do not mix and apply with other glues. Maintain the tank body jelly glue temperature at 60-65°C, and use the temperature at 55-60°C ( Glue stick).
